Academy of Performing Arts
For students who want to see themselves in the creative field, Slovakia has always been one of the most attractive countries. The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava is an educational institution with a long history, the names of its graduates are known all over the world. The Academy allows students to complete all three stages of higher education: bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral studies.

Academy of Performing Arts for foreign students
Foreign students can study in Slovakia for free and the cost of studying in English is much more affordable than in many other EU countries.
Especially for admission to universities in Slovakia, we have developed foundation courses in Slovak and English in Bratislava.
For international students, admission to the Academy of Performing Arts is an excellent opportunity to get an education in the creative field in one of the leading artistic educational institutions of Slovakia. Students of the academy can also travel to neighboring countries for learning from experienced and talented teachers and from fellow students. Internships, a large number of creative projects and competitions, exchange studies in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or Germany are not a complete list of reasons to choose an academy as your place of study.
Music and Dance Faculty
Students of the faculty actively participate in international competitions and seminars. The teaching staff is attentive to each student, which allows realizing the potential of young dancers and musicians. Many well-known Slovak artists, teachers, and music theorists are graduates of this institution and successfully represent the Academy of Performing Arts in Slovakia and abroad.

Film and TV Faculty
The main mission of the faculty is to provide education in modern cinema, multimedia, history, and theory of cinema. Teachers are attentive to their talented students so that each of them can find themselves and a way to express themselves in the academy. Students often take part in competitions and research activities.

Theater Faculty
The Theater Faculty offers the development of the creative abilities of future theater workers. The main goal of the university is to create a modern theatrical performance theory. Graduates of the faculty are directors, actors of ordinary and puppet theaters, theater experts, and managers.
