Faculty of Medicine
The Faculty of Medicine of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice has trained over 12,000 highly qualified specialists in the field of medicine since 1948. Among them are citizens of 50 countries of the world. The goal of the faculty is improving the quality of education in the region and compensating for the shortage of talented doctors in the country. Today it can rightfully be called one of the most prestigious in Slovakia. Students of this faculty annually take part in research projects, conferences, and internships in hospitals.

Faculty of Public Administration
The history of the faculty begins in 1998, when it was officially established. The need for its creation was due to the need for competent managers who received a decent modern education. For more than two decades, the faculty has achieved a high level of education: future employees (managers) in the field of public administration and self-government. Its students take an active part in the social and political life of the country.
