Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology
This faculty is unique in Slovakia. Keeping old traditions and actively introducing new technologies, its lecturers train specialists in a number of areas. The research activities of the faculty are focused on the integrated use of wood raw materials, technologies and economic management.

Faculty of Ecology and Environmental Sciences
The main task of the faculty is to train specialists with an up-to-date knowledge base about modern environmental activities. Within the framework of classes and as a scientific activity, students can apply the knowledge gained in practice. The graduates of the faculty are in demand as ecologists, employees of reserves and other specialists in related fields.
